SOLD Antique Dining Chairs, Set of 4 French Empire Chairs #21445
This set of antique dining room chairs consists of 4 French period Empire dining chairs that remain in unbelievable condition. Dating from the 1850s to 1860s, these antique dining chairs have had a few small repairs on the backs where some of the flame mahogany was chipped. There are two of the badges or trim pieces that go underneath the flame mahogany hand carved backs missing that we will fabricate in our shop, and there are some veneer chips missing that aren’t noticeable. The chairs are in tight condition; the upholstery is original and worn down, but there are no holes. They look cool, but someone who likes perfection would want the antique dining chairs to be reupholstered. The chairs are tight and sturdy with a serpentine front, carved front leg, flared back leg, and a hand carved rose crest back with flame mahogany veneer. The overall size is 17 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat and 34 inches high to the chair crest. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
