SOLD Antique Bookcase, Victorian Burl Walnut Step Back Cabinet
This antique bookcase features its original finish, with burl walnut, and a step-back feature. This Victorian bookcase has carved burl walnut, and came out of an East coast estate. This antique bookcase dates from the 1880s, and it is amazing we are still finding Victorian age items in this wonderful condition. It has double doors, triple adjustable shelf interior, two raised panel picture frame dove tail drawers in the base and applied burl panels on the top, down the posts and on the base. The panel back someone had drilled holes for wires and one of the shelves has a chip on the face. The two rosettes above both glass doors were missing, and we put reproduction ones in and color matched them. The overall size is 47 inches wide on the base, 19 inches deep on the base, 13.5 inches high on the base, 42 inches wide on the bookcase section, 13 inches deep on the bookcase section, 51 inches high on the bookcase section and the overall height is 66 inches tall. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
