SOLD Antique Accent Table, Antique Victorian Marble Top Shapely Burl Walnut Parlor Stand
We are pleased to be offering this shapely Victorian white and gray grained marble top solid black walnut parlor stand to you today. Dating from the 1880s, this table features incise carving and a burl veneer panel base. It came right out of a home in New England and remains in pretty much all original condition. There are a couple of chips on the bottom of the marble that we can detail out for you if you remind us at the time of sale. There is also a hair line that is approximately 3 inches long and looks like a vein in the marble. The marble is in the shapely turtle top, with fancy corners and a wide ogee bevel edge, and sits upon a molded solid black walnut frame. The marble and frame are supported with a four shapely incise carved burl panel accent trim legged base that is joined together in the center with a fancy shape post that has large finials on the top and the bottom. The overall size is 31 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 30 inches high. It is a great table. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
