SOLD Five Piece Art Deco Waterfall Bed Set

We are pleased to be offering today a wonderful art deco waterfall five
piece bedroom set that dates from the 1940s to 1950s.  I remember as a kid
growing up with one in my parents bedroom and I recall thinking it was a
fancy set with the bevel glass acid etched mirrors, the applied carvings,
multiple veneer and the blonde mahogany waterfall rolled front.  The
Bakelite handles are on the case pieces and they are all good.  The blonde
mahogany is original and has a brown amber tint to it, it has zebrawood
simulated appliqués, olive ash burl appliqués and plenty of carving.  The
set consists of a gorgeous mirror top five drawer vanity drop center well,
matching bench, three drawer dresser with a fancy carved bevel edge mirror
with appliqué carvings, a matching side chair and the full size bed.  They
are all in the same condition as it was in the same home.  All the pieces
have some veneer chips on the bottom of the case pieces where people picked
them up, but the tops are all good.  The side of the three drawer dresser
has a stain, which I do not know if it will rub out or not.  The bed comes
with the slats for you to place your box spring and  mattress on.  The
overall size of the bench is 24 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 31 inches to
the top of the carved back and 18 inches high to the seat.  It is a nice
little four piece match veneer back, carved arms, flared back legs and even
a cross stretcher.  The side chair is 18 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 34
inches high to the back and 18 inches high to the seat.  It is a match to
the bench except there is a little finish loss on the left hand side of the
top.  The fabric is just a pink slip cover that can be easily replaced.  The
first big piece is the beautiful vanity with  a mirror top.  The overall
size is 48 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 26 inches high on the outside, 20
inches high on the rolled skirt and another 3 inches high on the step up
mirror top.  The mirror itself is 48 inches wide and 72 inches high.  The
overall condition is good with a small shrink crack on the left hand side
which can be touched up if you remind us prior to shipping.  The mirror has
some silver loss, but nothing offensive.  The next item is the three drawer
chest which is 48 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 35 inches high to the dresser
top and 74 inches high to the top of the bevel glass mirror.  The widest
part of the mirror is 36 inches in the middle.  This is all dove tail
construction and all the hardware is intact.  There is a rub mark on the
side of the chest where there is a stain.  The overall condition is good
with just a few minor chips.  The full size modern day bed has a waterfall
rolled front on the headboard and the footboard.  It is a definite modern
day full size at 54 by 75.  The outside dimensions are 56.5 inches wide, 23
inches high on the footboard and 40 inches high on the headboard.  This bed
could actually be made into a queen with an adapter kit, which could be
purchased for approximately $50-$85.  The bed is in really nice shape with a
nice finish.  It has the olive ash center burl on the headboard just like
the top drawer of the dresser and the center drawer of the vanity.  It has a
match V shape mahogany veneer and match zebra wood veneer.  This set has not
been polished or color stained.  You can see where there is some finish loss
on one of the feet from being in storage that we will touch up prior to
shipping.  You are getting all five pieces for one money.  Shipping for a
