We are pleased to be offering today this very high quality wonderful third period Empire flame mahogany dining room chairs made by the Grand Ledge Furniture Company out of Grand Ledge, Michigan. They were known for their high end quality furniture. These chairs are their stock number 716. There finish is number 16. The seat cover is number X997. The chairs are very heavy, high quality and they are in flame mahogany. They consists of 7 side chairs and 1 large master or arm chair. They are in the original finish from the 1930s. The seat covers are ripped in a couple of places, but they are in good usable condition. The chairs are high quality with a pillar style back in the empire chair. They are a really good copy of chairs from the 1840s era. They have a flared back leg, saber style front leg, oversize cut out center splat that is all flame mahogany and a curved pillar back that just finishes off one great chair. Other than a few little veneer chips that are missing on a couple of the chairs that can be colored in pretty easy and the upholstery being a little worn in the front, they are a fantastic set of chairs in the medium brown stain finish. The overall size of the arm chair is 23 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 35 inches high to the chair back, 28 inches high on the arm and 19 inches high on the seat. The seven side chairs are 21 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 34 inches high to the chair back and 18 inches high to the seat. You are getting all eight chairs for one money.
