SOLD Victorian Round Mahogany Claw Foot Dining Table – Fluted Base
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful solid mahogany Victorian age split pedestal dining table that I believe was made by the Hastings Furniture Company according to the hardware. It comes with one 10 inch leaf, but you can add three more 10 inch leaves if you so desire. Please email us and we can quote you on fabricating the leaves. This table is a great candidate for refinishing as the grains of the wood are beautiful underneath the dark reddish brown stain finish. If you desire, please email us and we can provide a quote for that as well. The table opens and the fluted pedestal splits apart to support the table. The table has carved legs, detail toe nail claw feet and a rolled skirt with a beaded edge. It is a beautiful table dating from the 1890s. It would be stunning fully refinished. The overall size is 54 inches round and 30 inches high. It opens to 64 inches when the leaf is installed. It will hold 6 chairs around the table with the leaf installed. Shipping starts at $325 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
