SOLD Victorian Needlepoint Carved Walnut Renaissance Footstool
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful Victorian Renaissance carved all over needlepoint footstool that dates from the 1860s to 1870s in wonderful shape. It has dainty bulbous incise carved legs. There is notch carving on the circular skirt with little center blocks above the legs with an X incised. The needlepoint fabric is in excellent shape. I assume the fabric was replaced in the 1920’s when needlepoint clubs were getting together. The whole footstool is tight and sturdy. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 12 inches high. It is a great little footstool. This would be a great little accent piece. Shipping is $45 for a driveway delivery within the continental USA.
