SOLD Triple Section Carved Oak Dressing Mirror - Cheval
We are pleased to be offering today this original finish oak carved triple bevel glass section dressing mirror or cheval mirror that was normally found in a commercial operation. This particular mirror dates from the 1890s to 1900s in original condition right out of the home. It is 47 inches tall in the center. The mirror in the center is 25 inches wide on the frame of the mirror. The overall height is 76 inches tall. The outside mirrors are 45 inches tall by 23 inches wide. When it is fully opened it is 76 inches tall and 73 inches wide. It is a great mirror that has the original bevel glass, original carvings and original hardware. The only thing I see wrong with it is that it needs a new home. It sits upon cutout fancy legs on the center base. The finish could use a good polish and oil as it hasn’t been touched.
