We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful mahogany carved music box case that I believe was for a Stella disc player. It is the model with the drawer and the drawer inside is 17.5 inches. So it was obviously for a 16 inch music box or so. The inside cavity on top where the mechanism usually was is 24.75 inches wide by 17.75 inches deep. If you have a real plain case with the right size mechanism than this is definitely a good product for you. You can swap out cases and increase the value of your music box instantly. The cabinet is in the reddish brown finish. The hardware is intact, but there is no key for the lock. There are a few minor nicks and dings on the top, which would be corrected if you desired to refinish it. The overall outside size is 28 inches wide, 21.25 inches deep on the cover and 13.25 inches high. It is a great looking cabinet that has the original brass handles on the outside. I have seen people take a cabinet like this and modify it to use as a silver chest. Shipping starts at $55 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
