We are pleased to be offering today a wonderful set of eight walnut gothic style dining chairs that date from the 1930s. They are most likely made by a company such as Berkey and Gay or Lanstrom. This wonderful set of eight has been refinished by the previous owner. The set consists of a set of six side chairs and two arm chairs for a total of 8. The beautiful backs have a diamond point raised panel with incise carvings, circle designs in the center with a gothic style spindle and knob back. It has a flared back leg, multi-turn spindle front stretcher and a block and ball William and Mary style front leg. They are in a light walnut stain with minor little nicks and dings and a few little chips here and there. The overall condition is good. The fabric is slightly worn and has a few little stains and can easily be replaced by slipping out four screws and stapling new fabric on.
