SOLD Round Oak Lion Head and Claw Foot Dining Table with 2 Leaves
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful 48” round professionally restored and refinished oak tiger sawn dining table with an unusual base. Instead of the traditional cabriole base with claw foot, this one has detail open mouth lion faces in each leg. The legs are joined together in an octagon fluted pedestal base with a 48” tiger sawn table top. The table comes with two 9” leaves. The table has been stripped, re-glued, repaired if needed, sanded, stained a dark oak to medium amber color and multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer have been applied. It is a beautiful turn of the century piece that is ready to go into the home. This table is a great deal compared to others that have been professionally restored online. Our work is done in house to maintain quality work and keep our costs low so we can pass the savings onto our customers. The overall size is 48” round and 32 inches high sitting on brand-new castors. When the two table leaves are installed the table becomes 67” long. A set of 6 chairs will easily fit around this table.
