We are pleased to be offering today this pair of solid dark reddish brown mahogany pineapple poster beds of extra tall size and stature that date from the early 1900’s. These beds have bolt on rails. The rails are approximately 2 inches thick and 4 inches high. These beds are tight and there is no wobble. We have installed slats on the rails so that it would accommodate a modern day twin size box spring. The overall size of the beds themselves are 44 inches wide across the outside, 59 inches tall to the top of the pineapple post, the extra large multi-turn cross stretcher is 35 inches from the floor, the height of the headboard is 46 inches high from the floor. The inside dimensions are 38.5 inches by 75 inches long. Those are all solid mahogany, heavy and stout. There are delicate pineapple finials also. We are pleased to be offering today.
