We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful matching beautiful rare oversized jumbo Gone With The Wind lamps that dates from the turn of the century or early 1900s. This particular pair of lamps have a personal connection with me as they belonged to a friend of mine that was killed in a car accident one night coming home from an auction approximately 20 years ago. His widow has decided to sell them and I am happy to help. They have been in the same home since the last 1960’s to 1970’s that I know of. I went to the house many times and saw them as I went to auctions often with this particular friend. He loved Gone With The Wind Lamps and always had two or three matching pairs of Jumbos in his shop. This particular pair were offered by the Larkin Soap Company back in the early 1900s. When you bought so many packages of soap, you got these lamps for it. The overall size are 13.75 inches high to the height of the base, the size of the ball on top is 12 inches, the height with the ball from the base to the top of the lamp is 28 inches high and that does not include the chimney height The chimneys are the correct height as one is tall and one is short. Other than that, the two lamps are pretty much flawless. They have been electrified in the correct manner. They are a beautiful yellow background with gorgeous rose and green leaf hand decorated paint work on both lamps. They are a great looking pair that are difficult to find now a days. It will cost $100 to have these lamps shipped within our normal area. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding shipping or the lamps.
