SOLD Pair of Ball and Claw Chippendale Wing back Arm Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful match pair of Chippendale style ball and claw wingback arm chairs that are upholstered in a beautiful upholstery and date from the 1920s era. They have a nice form with a deep wing in the back, short arms, T cushions, reverse curve face front and they are very comfortable. The base has detail ball and claw carved cabriole feet and the back has the flared back leg. The upholstery is in good condition. The bottom of the seat cushions has some discoloration from where they sat over the years. The back cloth came out on the edge and they will tack back in. The wings on the sides are actually 15 inches deep. The arms are 9 inches in length. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 32 inches deep, 48 inches high to the chair back and 20 inches high to the seat. They are a beautiful match pair. The wood work shows minor nicks and dings. You are getting both chairs for what I am guessing the previous person paid for upholstering. Shipping starts at $365 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
