We are pleased to be offering this modest yet attractive oval mahogany dining table to you today. Dating from the 1940s, it comes with two 14 inch wide leaves that will stretch this table to 88 inches long. When the two leaves are removed, the table is approximately 60 inches long, 42 inches deep and 30 inches high. It has a traditional roll skirt molding that mirrors the oval of the tabletop that sits upon a four column platform brass cap footed Duncan Phyfe style base. It is quite a table, and perfect if you are searching for a formal or traditional inspired touch. We sell a lot of these tables, and this one received some attention from our professional restoration shop. We have stripped, glued, sanded, stained, refinished in a red-brown stain and hand-applied multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer to give the table a polished finish that perfectly matches the aesthetic of the piece.
