SOLD Oak Unusual Lawyers Swivel and Tilt Victorian Office Chair
We are pleased to be offering today this very unusual style tiger sawn oak lawyers and bankers swivel and tilting office chair that was purchased from the coast of Maine out of a beautiful home. It is in the original old finish that has darkened to a dark oak patina over the years. It dates from the early 1900’s and it has the typical small paint splatters where someone left it uncovered when they were painting the room. It has a scoop out tiger sawn oak seat that sits on a four legged base with a cast iron mechanism. The chair tilts, swivels and goes up and down. If this chair was professionally refinished it would be breathtaking with the grains. The chair is an unusual design with a curved back, hand hold cut out in the back and a cut out center splat. It has big bold arms and a scoop out seat that makes for a comfortable chair. The overall size is 24 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 35 inches high as shown, 26 inches high to the arm and 18 inches high to the seat. Please keep in mind that this chair is height adjustable.
