We are pleased to be offering today this original finish sectional file cabinet which I believe was made by the Yarman Company by the way the cabinet is made, but it isn’t marked that I can see. It dates from the 1890’s to 1900’s in the original finish. It comes with the top, four sections and a base. It has the nice scroll roll top and base. The top section is like an index drawer with five of them across. The next section is a file drawer with six of them across. It must have come out of a pharmacy as it has cardboard boxes instead of files with the name of the drug company which is a good idea. Then it has two raised panel doors and a flip up door that has an area for an adjustable shelf. There is no adjustable shelf. Then the roll front base. Just because we set it up in this fashion doesn’t mean you need to as the section are interchangeable. I would have guessed that the doors would go on the bottom and you can always find additional sections to add to it if you desire. It is all tiger sawn oak. It has the original knobs and handles. It has two of the tall file drawer have locks, but we do not have the key. Overall it is a nice original finish file cabinet. The overall size is 33 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 52 inches high. The height of the file drawer section is 4 inches. The height of the file cabinet drawer is 11 inches. The height of the raised panel doors are 13 inches and the height of the panel door cabinet is 13 inches high. These are getting tougher to find.
