We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful tiger sawn oak ladies stout but stylish swivel tilting adjustable height office chair made by the Marble and Shatuck Company out of Cleveland, Ohio back in the 1890s to 1910s. It is a wonderful chair that was refinished a long time ago by the previous owner. It is a very stout and stylish chair. It has a curved back, multi-turn spindle slat back that follows the contours of your back for comfort and a scooped out seat. It has old lamination seams on the seat as shown in the pictures. The top needs some wood filler where the posts come up and we will detail out prior to shipping if you remind us at the time of the sale. The overall size is 19 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 34 inches high as shown and 18 inches high to the seat. The adjustable height allows it to move up and down 2-3 inches. The chair rolls on those ugly ball castors, which make the chair glide easy. You can always replace the castors if you like the nostalgic look.
