SOLD Oak Heavy Carved Two Door Four Drawer Bookcase – Paine Quality
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful solid tiger sawn oak Victorian age bookcase that was most likely sold by the Paine Furniture Company due to the quality and heaviness. I am dating this from the 1880's. It is all solid tiger sawn oak and it has four dove tail drawers. There is carving everyplace. The overall size is 57 inches by 19 inches by 59 inches high. The height of the doors which have the original glass are approximately 41 inches high. There are three adjustable shelves inside. The condition is great. There are a couple of cracks in the very top and in the back panel where it shrunk over the years. The drawers are all round dove tail. It would look even better refinished, which we can do for an additional charge. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
