We are pleased to be offering today a custom 44” round coffee table that dates from the turn of the century. It is custom made or custom adapted about 40 years ago ( I know the house this came out of). It was done back when everyone would cut down tables to make coffee tables as coffee tables of this size were not available. This coffee table is in the empire style. The pedestal has been cut down and it rests on curl feet. It is finished in a dark oak stain finish that shows the tiger sawn oak throughout the entire top. It is veneer and it is in good condition. It has one small area that the center needs a little glue on the veneer, which we will do prior to shipping. It is a good honest table with a lovely finish showing minor wear. The table is 44 inches round and approximately 18 inches high. You can change the castors to adjust the height a little bit, but 18 inches is a good height for your average coffee table.
