We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful solid tiger sawn oak newly re-leathered double cushion quarter sawn arm chair that dates from the 1920s. It is a great looking style that looks like a Morris chair, but it is not. It has a slanted fixed back and came out of a local home in Maine. The person who owned it had the cushions redone just like the originals with genuine cow leather and lacing on the ends. The chair was also redone at the same time to bring out the gorgeous grains of the tiger sawn oak. It dates from the 1920's and we could not find a maker's mark on it anywhere. The overall size is 33 inches wide, 36 inches deep, 26 inches high to the arm and 40 inches high to the tall back. It is a great piece of comfortable mission furniture for any size.
