We are pleased to be offering this wonderful mahogany Chippendale style needlepoint style ball and claw ladies desk chair or piano stool that dates from the 1930s. It is in wonderful condition with the original dark reddish brown finish. It has the original needlepoint antique green with colorful floral seat. The swivel chair sits upon a ball bearing base and multi-turn center column that comes down into a fancy platform and terminates with ball and claw feet. I haven’t seen one of these in a long time. The overall size is 16 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 33 inches high to the back and 19 inches high to the seat. It is in original condition. For some reason it has a little indentation where they must have had some kind of rest or something there is a little tiny hole right in the center of the top horizontal slat. Otherwise it is in good condition showing minor signs of wear. Shipping starts at $65 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
