We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful antique hanging scenic blue and green slag glass lamp that I believe dates from the 1930’s. It is in the Tiffany style, but is not a Tiffany. This is a bronze overlay color in a bronze color metal that depicts a lake scene with the blue sky in the back. It has scallop metalwork along the bottom edge. It has 6 large blue curve glass slag bent glass panels that are 9 inches wide at the bottom. Below that is a green slag glass that depicts the lake or the fields. It has the original ceiling collar and hanging chain. It has an approximately 16 inch drop that goes to the top of the shade flange and then the lamp shade itself which is approximately 20 inches across and 11 inches high. So from the ceiling down is approximately 27 inches. This hung in a family members home since at least 1971. It was purchase right in central Maine from the original home owner to the most recent home owner. This lamp has been in the family home for at least 50 years and I also know the original owner. This lamp has a lot of history since its purchase back in the 1930s. Shipping starts at $85 for a crated driveway delivery in our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.
