SOLD French Style Upholstered 1930’s Sofa

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful four legged Chippendale style carved shapely sofa that dates from the 1930s. It came right out of a home in Southern Maine. I don’t believe the upholstery is original, but it might be. The upholstery is in really good condition with some fading on the arms and on the back of the sofa, most likely from sitting near a window for years. It has three cushion which are firm foam filled, carved walnut frame, four legs on the front and a camel shape design on the back. The overall size is 72 inches long, 36 inches deep, 38 inches high to the top of the sofa, 24 inches high to the lowest part of the arm and 19 inches high to the nice firm cushion. The more I look at it, I believe this has been reupholstered. It has been in the estate for many years and it could probably use a good cleaning. It is a good usable antique sofa that is an antique green with gray accent highlights. The finish is a little worn on the legs in the front from normal wear.
