We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful brass embossed Aladdin Rayo lamp with a hand painted shade that came out o a local Maine estate. We had some really nice lamps come out of this central Maine estate. These lamps came from a friend’s home who passed away 15 years ago and his widow is disposing of some of his collection. He loved only the best, so even when it came down to an Aladdin lamp, he purchased the ones in mint condition. This one is all embossed. It is all brass, not nickel plated, which is unusual. It has a hand painted approximately 10 inch wide porcelain lined decorated shade. It appears to have the original chimney. We never wash them, clean them or dust them and they are pictured just like they were in the home. This lamp has been electrified, but they didn’t cut into the base and they came through the top of the burner. The overall size from the base to the top of the painted shade 18 inches, 21 inches high to the top of the chimney, from the floor up to the where the chimney goes into the collar is approximately 11 inches high and it is 6.25 inches wide across the base. The condition is original. It will cost $40 to have this lamp shipped within our normal area.
