This antique round walnut banquet table, dating back to the Civil War era and the Victorian period is a true piece of history to add to your home. Dating from the 1860s to 1870s, we bought this out of a home in western MA. This highly carved table is a rare find, with its original finish still intact. The split pedestal base opens to reveal a support leg, providing stability for all your dinner parties and family gatherings. The legs are thick and carved with rosettes, fleurs-de-lis, and leaf carvings that add an extra touch of elegance. It comes with 8 original factory-made leaves, each measuring 15.5” wide, which allows the table to extend an impressive 14 feet long! The center column of the table is also carved with moldings, making it a true masterpiece of Victorian design. The skirt features a four-part molded edge, another sign of the high quality of this table.

Not only is this antique dining room table functional, but it's also in fantastic original condition, with the original finish intact.
