SOLD Antique Victorian Round Oak Split Base Table w/ 3 Leaves *REDUCED PRICE*
We are pleased to be offering today this gorgeous and most unusual split pedestal base claw foot tiger sawn oak dining room table dating from the early 1900’s. It is one of the nicest designs that we have seen in a long time. The table is sturdy being 52 inches of tiger sawn solid oak that comes with three 9.25 inch leaves. When the table is opened with the leaves it is 80 inches long to accommodate six chairs. The table is 30 inches high. The table was refinished within the last 10-15 years and it was a quality refinishing job. Look at the photos of the base as there are a couple of seams of lamination on one side of the claw foot carved pedestal. Overall it is a really nice usable table. It has those ball style castors from the 60’s and the table roll easy. The solid tiger sawn oak table top has two small seams from age but structurally very sound. We can redo the table over to fix the cracks and refinish for another $600-$700 if the buyer so desires. The table is most unusual with the leaves even being tiger sawn. The color is a medium oak color. We are having trouble closing the table base real tight, as I believe a piece of the hardware to assist making the table close tight is missing. We can fix it with some latches on the underneath of the base before shipping. A very classy and VERY HEAVY TABLE!! Shipping is only $289 with our new reduced shipping rates in place. Check our other items for the new low rates as well.
