We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful looking tiger sawn oak
slant top desk that dates from the 1900s in original as found condition.
It is all tiger sawn right up to the tiny little backsplash on the back.
This desk is in the original finish right out of the estate. You can see
where someone repaired a small chip on the writing lid, but otherwise it is
in great original condition with some finish wear. It has the original
hardware and carving. When you open the lid, you can see what the desk
would look like refinished as it is all original. The open lid exposes a
cubby hole interior with a single drawer and double lid support. The desk
lid is 27 inches from the floor when opened. It has no key, but does have a
lock. The lid has a beautiful big joyful shady looking face of a north wind
with the fangs hanging down and a clown type smile. The base has the
original three dove tail drawers. The desk is 30.5 inches wide, 16 inches
deep and 40 inches tall. Shipping starts at $249 for a driveway delivery in
our normal shipping area. Shipping can change as much as $100 if you are on
