SOLD Antique Victorian Marble Top Shapely Parlor Stand
We are pleased to be offering today this antique Victorian solid black walnut American marble top parlor stand that dates from the 1880s era. It is a great looking table with the turtle top shape. It took talent to cut these out and put the ogee bevel edge on this white and gray grain marble top. It has a slight stain on the top where a plant most likely set. The tabletop rests upon a shapely shirt that follows the contours of the marble and rests upon four shapely legs that join together in the center with a turn finial. The finial has a chip on the dainty top, which we will correct prior to shipping. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 28.5 inches high. It is a stylish table in clean original finish. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
