SOLD Antique Victorian Cutout Carved Oak Press Back Rocker **REDUCED PRICE**
We are pleased to be offering today this solid oak fancy cutout press back multi-turn spindle post rocker that dates from the turn of the century (1900’s). The rocker has been all stripped, sanded, stained, multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer and a big reupholstered seat in a brocade fabric. The rocker has been all tightened up and is ready for years of carefree enjoyment. The multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer will ensure that the finish will last for decades. It is all solid oak, manly in size, but stylish in style. It has multi-turn solid oak spindles that the back posts go right into the solid oak seat. Oak front spindles support the rolled scroll arms that go into the seat. The base is all multi-turn with the original oak rockers and the back is all pierce carved or cutout like a saber sawn pattern. On top of the double press section it has multi-turn spindles that support the crest rail. The size is 24 inches across the arms, 19 inches on the inside of the arms, 21 inches deep from the front to the back , 44 inches to the posts when it is at the normal resting position and 16 inches high to the seat. It is a great rocker that is fancier than normal. It will only cost $245 to have this rocker shipped within our normal delivery area.
