SOLD Antique Vanity, Victorian Tiger Oak Ladies Dressing Table
This wonderful example of a tiger-sawn oak Antique Vanity Table features a shapely claw foot, double drawers, oval bevel mirror and gorgeous color. Dating from the 1890s in original condition right out of a Massachusetts home, this Antique Vanity Table has fantastic graining on this tiger sawn oak! This vanity has a serpentine front with a simulated double drawer, but it is just one large dovetail drawer. This antique vanity has applied gingerbread carving across the serpentine skirt, big, beautiful cabriole legs terminating in a detail claw foot, ogee bevel edge top with tiger sawn graining and an oval beveled glass mirror on top held up by yolks retaining the original hardware. You can see where the left-hand yolk had cracked at the base and was repaired, but we will detail it out prior to shipping. There are a couple of small scratches on top that may rub out. The overall size is 35 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 31 inches high to the vanity top and 63 inches high to the top of the mirror. The mirror is 17.5 inches wide by 25 inches high. It is a great vanity. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
