SOLD Antique Sideboard in Oak with Curio Top Buffet

This antique oak sideboard is stunning, and features a beautiful, beveled and leaded glass curio top. Dating from the 1890s, this gorgeous piece has an egg and dart detail around the glass on the doors, a pierce carved crest in the shape of a bow, carved swag details on the doors, and plenty of storage! The curio top has three separate sections: the right and left sections feature curved leaded glass doors that open up to a single shelf interior, and center section opens up to reveal a single shelf interior as well. The base of this piece offers even more storage, with three drawers, two of which measure 10” x 3” x 14 1/2”, and a center drawer that measures 15” x 3” x 15”. Open the three doors on the base to expose more storage space and a single shelf.

This oak sideboard and curio cabinet is of European origin, and features hand cut dovetail drawers, raised carved panel fronts on the doors, panel sides, and a four-legged turn front base. In good original condition, there’s some staining in the finish on the sideboard top but overall, everything looks great, with only the normal nicks & dings that come with age.

This antique china closet measures 45 inches across the front, 21 inches deep, and 81 inches tall. From the floor to the buffet top is 39 1/2 inches. The interior cabinet on the base is 44“ x 24“ x 15 1/2“ with one fixed shelf. The shelf in the center top section of the curio measures 10 inches deep.
