This is a great set of six oak firehouse Windsor arm chairs in original condition and dating from the 1890s era. The chairs have a label that says they came out of Leaven’s Furniture of Boston, well-known for their high-quality goods. They’re all solid oak construction, and the cabinet man, Mike, went through and checked to see they were tight and sturdy, and to remove some wires that had been put on the chairs. The finish is a dark oak stain, and they have the follow-through continuous arm and a bow back. The overall size of each is 23 inches across the arms, 18 inches deep, 35 inches to the top of the hoop, and 18 inches high to the solid seat. They have nice sturdy arms, and are just nice sturdy chairs. These would look great around a conference table, at a country home, or even in a camp!
