We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful set of four solid tiger sawn oak carved dining room chairs from the 1890’s. This is a set of four heavily carved dining chairs that are finished in a dark oak stunning original finish.
The dining room chairs consist of three side chairs and one armchair. They have detail pierce carved backs, carved center splats with an oval design, tapered block, and molded spade foot legs, flared back legs and a solid H cross stretcher. They have antique light orange or peach crush velour upholstery that is in nice condition. The armchair has big bold carved knuckles. They are tiger sawn oak in a dark oak stain. The side chairs are 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. The armchair is 23 inches wide across the seat, 25 inches wide across the arms, 19 inches deep, 42 inches high to the chair back, 28 inches high to the arms and 19 inches high to the seat.
