We are pleased to be offering today this original finish 54-inch round mahogany ball and claw split pedestal base dining table that dates from the 1890s in original condition. It shows wear and marks on the tabletop and leaves. This table is a likely candidate for full restoration in our professional restoration shop. We would be happy to provide a quote via email for a full restoration or just to respray the tabletop and leaves, whichever you prefer. The table is in a dark reddish brown mahogany stain finish. It has a nice split pedestal base that opens to hold the four table leaves nicely. The legs are carved coming down into a talon ball and claw. The pedestal itself is multi-turn which is real attractive. The base when closed up has hardware to ensure it does not open up when not needed. The table is 54 inches round, 29 inches high from the floor, four leaves that are 10.75 inches wide each, 97 inches wide when all the leaves are installed. This table will easily accommodate a family of six, if not eight. Other than the top showing nicks, dings and wear marks, the base is in really nice shape. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for additional shipping outside of New England.
