We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful and rare matching set of 8 press back multi turn spindle oak arm chairs that dates from the 1890s to 1900s; These are very rare and hard to find. This set of 8 are all intact, complete and in good condition. Someone has refinished the set in the last 10 years or so. They did a fair job on them. We have brought the chairs into the shop to make sure that they are all tight and sturdy. They chairs have quarter sawn oak, straight grain oak, elm and maple on the cross spindles. They are finished in a medium oak that brings out the wonderful deep press on the design back. There are seven multi turn extra long spindles that give you a comfortable seat with a big bold rolled arm in solid oak that is supported with 3 spindles and a large post. The scooped out seat provides ample comfort. It has multi turn cross stretcher triple cross stretchers for added strength and sturdiness. 20.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 44.5 inches high to the back, 29.5 inches high to the arms and 18.5 inches high to the seat.
