SOLD Antique Parlor Table, Victorian Marble Top Stand
This wonderful antique parlor stand features burl walnut and solid black walnut construction, a marble top, and a picture frame molded top. Dating from the 1880's, this Victorian Parlor Table has an octagon type corner, burl walnut trim on the top border, burl trim on the sides, rosettes on the corners and burl all over. It has fluted tapered turn posts; burl walnut posts and bottom finials make a fantastic table. Other than the very top that got a bit damp at one time because there are little veneer chips off the picture frame that goes around the marble top. It isn’t anything serious, but it is noticeable. The overall size is 33 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 30 inches high. We have been fortunate to find some nice marble top stands lately, like this beauty.
