This typical midwestern Victorian marble top parlor stand dates from the 1880s. We rarely find these on the east coast, but this one came out of the Chicago area in original finish. It has an adorable black forest carved dog resting on the bottom shelf.  This antique parlor table has a white and gray grained ogee bevel edge marble top. The marble rests upon a solid walnut frame. A lot of times they would paint grain on the frame to make it look like rosewood, but this one is walnut, and it has some grain painting to make it look like rosewood. This Victorian parlor stand has applied raised panel trims on the sides of the legs. The parlor table retains the original porcelain castors.  The dog is all good as we fed, watered, walked, and let him use the bathroom. The overall size of the table is 36 inches wide, 24 inches deep and 29 inches high.  One little trim of the skirt has a little roughness and if you remind us at the time of the sale, we will detail it out prior to shipping.  Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for shipping outside of New England.
