Take a look at this nice matched pair of Chippendale Queen Anne beveled edge unusual twin-size beds that came in on a load from England that date from the 1950’s. When you set the metal-hook frames together, it allows you to have a 35 inch width on the frame, and 75 inches in length. I believe that some modern-day American twin beds are 36 inches wide, but most of them are 39 inches wide. You are still able to fit the wider American box spring on this bed, and it will only stick out an inch and a half on each side. The headboard is 46 inches high, and the footboard is 30 inches high. The finish is dark brownish color, with black cast iron frames. The overall condition is good, with only slight shading differences from where the beds sat in the home.
