This antique server is in tiger sawn oak, and is carved with diminutive claw feet. In original condition, this antique oak server dates from the 1890s. Overall condition is fantastic original, and features a carved oak backsplash, original hardware, and is tiger sawn oak construction with the secondary wood also of oak - a sure sign of quality! This antique oak server has a large, carved dovetail drawer, a carved backsplash, a bottom shelf that connects the four legs, heavy carved scroll legs and base, picture frame molded drawers, and looks great in its original dark oak finish.
This is a great piece and it is the one that is often missing from people’s dining room sets. Quite a few clients purchase these because they make a great stand for a flat screen television. Measuring 44 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 37 inches high to the top of the case, and 43.5 inches to the top of the backsplash.
Originally this was a dessert server and part of a larger dining room set - it is still in excellent condition, so we’re guessing the original owners weren't big fans of dessert!
