SOLD Antique Oak Draw Leaf Dining Table Opens 11 Feet
We are pleased to be offering today this barley twist posted leg parquet top tiger sawn oak draw leaf table that opens to 11 feet long when fully extended dating from the 1900's. When the table is closed, it is 48 inches long, 38 inches deep and 30 inches high. The wings pull out and they are 21 inches wide. When the wings are pulled it out, it adds 42 inches to the length. Then the wings can flip down to add another 42 inches to length (11 feet total). Tapered legs flip down at the end to support the extension.
The table is of German origin. It is unique how a four-foot table can turn into an eleven-foot table. The finish is original dark oak stain finish. The draw leaves are unfinished wood that a tablecloth would cover. It has barley twist posts that hold up the table with a solid V shape cross stretcher with a finial in the center.
