SOLD Antique Mahogany Duncan Phyfe Curved Door Breakfront by Drexel
Take a look at this wonderful curved door triple glass front breakfront cabinet with triple curved drawers and double doors, made in the Travis Court Collection by Drexel back in the 1940s. It has the original dentil carved molding on the top that follows the contours of the serpentine top, triple glass front, the center of which is a curved glass door and the two outside doors are straight, and a double shelf interior with plate grooves. The base has two picture frame molded doors that offer plenty of storage, with a shelf in the center of each. There are also three curved drawers in the center that are dovetail and retain their original brass style hardware. The finish is a dark reddish-brown. The overall size is 49 inches wide, 16 inches deep because of the curved front, and 70 inches tall. This is a beautiful, clean cabinet.
