SOLD Antique Mahogany Chippendale Ball and Claw Lowboy
Made of solid mahogany, this is a petite Chippendale ball and claw lowboy that dates from the 1930s or ‘40s. It has four ball and claw solid mahogany legs, a shapely scalloped thick skirt, and five dovetail drawers with the center having clamshell carving, as a traditional Chippendale lowboy would. It’s in a lovely reddish brown finish. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 29.5 inches high. It comes with the original Chippendale brass style hardware.
