SOLD Antique Kitchen Table, Antique Large Unusual Square Oak Dining Room Table – 6 Leaves
We are pleased to be offering this most unique solid oak, super large banquet table to you today. Dating from the 1890s, this comes with six factory 12-inch leaves; the table measures 51 inches by 59 inches when closed and when the six leaves are inserted, it stretches over 10 feet long! The table is in the original old finish, and t came right off the Cape of Massachusetts. It doesn’t have a slider mechanism underneath the table; the table actually comes apart and then you would install the leaves. I have never owned a table like this, and I'm sure you can imagine I've owned a lot of tables in the 50 years I've been an antique dealer. It looks like two small tables pushed together; however, it is one nice large table. It came right out of the original home it was bought for back in the 1890s, and we were also lucky to get the chairs that went around the table, too! Please check our listings to see if they are still available. There is a split on the top, but otherwise in very good condition showing just the normal wear and tear on the original finish. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
