We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful period gold carved fancy picture frame wall mirror from the 1880s. there is a little bit of gold off and a piece of carving that we can touch up for the buyer if they so desire. The frame is awesome with carving all over. It has three sides all carved, which means on the sides there are three carvings (both corners and the center) on the outside frame. The center on the top and the bottom is carved as well for a total of 8 carvings on the outside frame. The inside frame is identical, except richer and nicer. The inside frame even has some of the original lemon gold. The outside dimensions are 18 inches by 21 inches. The inside dimension for painting status is 13 1/8 inches by 16.5 inches. It is definitely an old period frame as you can see on the back. The picture frame maker that probably put this mirror in, likely placed his label on the back stating that it was from New Jersey. It is a great frame and if you have a painting than this is definitely worth the money. It will cost $18.00 to have this mirror shipped within our normal shipping area.
