This Victorian Renaissance era dresser is a true masterpiece. Dating from the 1880s, it's a stunning piece in beautiful original condition and finish. The rose quartz colored marble tops are highly desirable, as are the burl walnut accents that are all intact. We absolutely adore the original antique mirror glass on this dresser. It's an oversized piece and much larger than a normal dresser. The cookie cutter marble top is a real showstopper, and the warm patina of the original medium walnut stain adds to its charm. Measuring 60” wide x 23” deep x 95” tall, with the two outside columns reaching a height of 32” and the drop center well measuring 16” high, this dresser has plenty of storage space. The hand-cut dovetail drawers are a testament to the craftsmanship of the era.
There are normal nicks and dings that come with age, but nothing of note. The original hardware and keyhole escutcheons are all present and add to the overall beauty of the piece. We made minor adjustments to the case in our professional restoration shop to ensure it's all nice and sturdy.
