SOLD Antique Display Cabinet, Antique Curio Cabinet, Antique Carved Oak Unusual Stylish Cabinet
We are pleased to be offering today this cabinet we have acquired that is the first I have seen in my over 50 years in the antique business. Check it out! I am not sure if it is American or Belgium as there are attributes of both. It is one of the fanciest tiger sawn original finish condition cabinets that I have owned. Look at all the photos as you will never see another like this. It has carving on all the sides. It has a most unusual plant stand or some sort of shelf on both sides of the cabinet that is supported with cut out lion or dragon heads. The front door is gorgeous that when opens reveals 4 adjustable shelves. I wanted to keep it, but the wife says we have no more room. The cabinet has a spayed foot, cutout scallop base and it is about as clean as they come. I am dating it from the 1920s based on the hardware. The inside has embossed fabric like wallpaper. The colors of the interior go well with the patina of the cabinet. The cabinet is 60 inches wide from shelf to shelf, 34 inches wide on the cabinet itself, 17 inches deep, 76 inches high to the top of the cabinet, the shelves are 16 inches deep, and the shelves are approximately 12 inches long. The 4 interior shelves have plate grooves in the back. The interior shelves are 13 inches deep and 30 inches wide. This is an unusual and hard to find piece. Shipping starts at $365 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Outside New England it will change, so please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for outside of New England for shipping.
