We are pleased to be offering this wonderful mahogany Hepplewhite spade foot carved skirt table to you today. Dating from the 1890s in original as found condition, the finish on this is crazed on top. It is very usable, but it has a detailed antique look, and there are nicks and dings on the edges of the solid mahogany top. It rests on top of six spade foot legs, and when all four 11” leaves are inserted, the table is 8 feet long. When the table is closed, it measures 54 inches round and 30 inches high. The table will open an additional 40 inches, which would necessitate additional leaves; we can provide a quote for this if you are interested. In a dark mahogany finish, this stout and sturdy table features the attractive Lincoln drape carved around the skirt. This table would be absolutely stunning refinished -- if you would like to have the table refinished or additional leaves made, please drop us a note for a quote. This auction is for the table only, but we have included a photo of the table and chairs together if you are interested in the set. Shipping starts at $295 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
