SOLD Antique China Closet, Victorian Mahogany Corner China Cabinet
This Victorian mahogany china closet is in the Empire style, with Empire pillars coming down the front with a wonderful detailed paw claw foot, two glass doors on top, a mirror back, three shelves on the top section, and one shelf on the bottom. The roman key crown molding top and solid mahogany construction lend to the fact that this Antique China Closet is a nice quality piece. The overall size is 37 inches wide, 22 inches deep from the front to the back and 75 inches high overall. The amount of wall space it takes up when in the corner is 27 inches. The cabinet dates from around the 1880s based on construction. This antique china closet is solid mahogany. They re-glued the shelves as they had surface cracks, but they are all strong and sturdy. The fixed shelves are 10 inches in space of each other on top. The mirror backs are all antique with the silver age streaks. It is a great looking cabinet with double wooden doors on the base, glass doors on top, comes with a key and it is all there.
