This is a mahogany butler’s drop side coffee table dating from the last 30 years or so. The overall condition is really good, including the brass hinges, and the sides can be flipped down, which gives the impression that it is a lift-off butler’s tray, but it’s fixed onto the table. The table is dark brown in color, and has a country style Chippendale leg and a cross-stretcher. When the sides are all flipped up, it is 31 inches long, 24 inches deep, and as high as 23 inches on the wings. When the sides are down, it becomes an oval that is 41 inches long, 33.5 inches deep, and 17 inches high. It’s in really nice condition on the face side, but you can see rub marks when it’s flipped up on the other side of the flip up.
